03:37 PM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks fell late Tuesday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) easing 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) falling 1.7%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index dropped 1.1%.

In corporate news, Alphabet's (GOOG) Google's ( GOOG ) Chief Privacy Officer Keith Enright will leave later this year, Forbes reported. Matthew Bye, Google's ( GOOG ) head of competition law, will also depart, and the company doesn't plan to replace the executives, the report said. Alphabet shares eased 0.1%.
