03:30 PM EDT, 03/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were mixed in late Thursday afternoon trading with the NYSE Financial Index down 0.2% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) adding 0.2%.
The Philadelphia Housing Index rose 0.5%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) increased 0.3%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) added 0.5% to $87,379, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 1.9 basis points to 4.376%.
In economic news, US gross domestic product growth was revised up to 2.4% for Q4 from a 2.3% increase in the previous estimate, compared with expectations for no revision in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.
In corporate news, Morgan Stanley ( MS ) is working with Goldman Sachs (GS) to explore selling a majority stake in German renewable project developer PNE, Reuters reported. Morgan Stanley ( MS ) shares dropped 2.3%, and Goldman shed 2.1%.
