09:03 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were edging higher premarket Friday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) up nearly 0.1%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.4% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 0.5% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.2% at $70.06 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil rose by 0.1% to $73.40 per barrel. Natural gas futures were down 0.03% at $3.926 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Infinity Natural Resources ( INR ) shares declined by over 17% after the company reported that it swung to a Q4 net loss as revenue fell during the period.
