03:23 PM EDT, 03/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks rose late Tuesday afternoon with the NYSE Energy Sector Index and the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) both gaining 0.5%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index increased 0.5%, while the Dow Jones US Utilities Index dropped 1.7%.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil declined 0.2% to $69 a barrel, and global benchmark Brent rose 0.1% to $73.05 a barrel. Henry Hub natural gas futures fell 1.6% to $3.85 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Oklo ( OKLO ) is well-positioned to capitalize on growing demand for nuclear energy with the artificial-intelligence revolution in its early stage, Wedbush said. Oklo ( OKLO ) shares still fell 8.8%.
