Consumer sector will continue to do well for next 2-3 years, says AlfAccurate Advisors

Rajesh Kothari, MD of AlfAccurate Advisors, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about market fundamentals and shared his sector recommendations.

"Private sector banks, consumers and industrials stood out in Q3 of FY19," said Kothari, while adding that sectors such as automobiles, power, telecom did not perform well in Q3.

Talking about auto sector, Kothari said, “Within auto and auto ancillary space you can identify many companies where the potential of earnings for next two years because structurally there is no problem, in fact with BS-VI norms coming in many auto ancillary companies are going to get benefit out of it. So earnings growth can be very strong and the valuations have beaten down significantly.”

According to Kothari, "Consumer sector will continue to do well for next 2-3 years."
