Research Alert: CFRA Raises Opinion To Buy From Hold On Shares Of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
Mar 19, 2025 1:25 PM

04:00 PM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We upgrade our opinion to Buy from Hold based on our view of an attractive valuation at current levels. Our 12-month price target is $297 (unchanged), based on a 2025 EV/EBITDA multiple of 15x, a premium to historic averages, justified by sales growth and earnings quality. Our EPS estimates are unchanged at $14.62 in 2025 and $16.18 in 2026. In our view, recent weakness in shares reflects overblown negative sentiment around policy uncertainty and the direction of consumer spending. We think investors undervalue RCL's leadership on hardware and global itineraries, which are helping fuel strong occupancy rates. We see further margin expansion opportunities ahead as net yields grow ahead of cruise costs. Strong booking trends suggest travel and leisure trends are healthy heading into Q1 2025, giving us a higher degree of certainty that RCL is on the right path to achieve a 20% EPS CAGR from 2025 to 2027.
