10:37 AM EST, 12/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The Dallas Federal Reserve's monthly general business services index fell slightly to a reading of 9.6 in December from 9.8 in November, indicating a slightly slower pace of expansion.
The index is in line with the Kansas City, Richmond Fed and the S&P Global Flash estimates but in contrast with the New York Fed and the Philadelphia Fed indexes that signaled contraction.
The employment reading declined but remained positive, while the readings for revenue, input prices and selling prices all increased in the month.
