07:37 AM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Music Group ( WMG ) said Thursday it reached a multi-year agreement with Spotify ( SPOT ) through which the companies "will work together to shape the future of audio-visual streaming and enhance the value of music."
The deal will deliver a deeper video and music catalog, more paid subscription tiers and differentiated content bundles, Warner Music ( WMG ) said. The agreement also builds on the companies' "artist-centric" royalty models, the company said. The agreement introduces a direct licensing model with Warner Chappell Music in several additional countries, including the US, Warner Music ( WMG ) said.
