JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) appointed Bank of America's ( BAC ) equity capital markets veteran Sumit Mukherjee as head of its equity capital markets intelligence, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Mukherjee will join JPMorgan ( JPM ) in November and will report to Global Head of Capital Markets Kevin Foley, one of the people was quoted as saying.
