Update: CGI Posts Higher Fiscal Q3 Results, Plans to Pay Dividend

CGI (GIB) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Wednesday of 1.91 Canadian dollars ($1.38) per diluted share, up from CA$1.80 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected CA$1.92.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was CA$3.67 billion, up from CA$3.62 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected CA$3.69 billion.

Additionally, CGI said that its board has approved a dividend program to pay a quarterly cash dividend to holders of its Class A subordinate voting shares and Class B shares, starting in Q1 2025. The company said it plans to pay a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share, subject to board declaration.

CGI shares were up about 3% in recent trading.
