07:28 AM EDT, 09/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Timken (TKR) said Thursday it named Tarak Mehta president and chief executive, succeeding Richard Kyle, who will serve as an adviser during the transition period.

Following the transition, Kyle will retire in February 2025 but will remain on the company's board.

Mehta previously served as a member of ABB's group executive committee and president of its Motion business.
