Northern Dynasty Minerals' Lawsuit Against EPA Over Mining Denial Adds US Army Corps of Engineers
Aug 19, 2024 5:00 AM

07:30 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Northern Dynasty Minerals ( NAK ) said Monday a federal judge has granted its motion to modify its lawsuit in a US District Court in Alaska against the US Environmental Protection Agency over its rejection of its southwest Alaska Pebble mining project by adding the US Army Corps of Engineers as an additional defendant.

The company said the EPA veto of the mining project was largely due to an Army Corps of Engineers permit denial.
