01:28 PM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ivanhoe Mines ( IVPAF ) said Monday the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex in the Democratic Republic of the Congo produced 100,812 tonnes of copper in concentrate during the second quarter and 186,925 tonnes of copper in the first half of 2024.
Kamoa-Kakula's Phase 3 concentrator is expected to increase steady-state production in the third quarter, pushing annualized copper production capacity to more than 600,000 tonnes.
Ivanhoe Mines ( IVPAF ) maintains its 2024 annual production guidance for Kamoa-Kakula of 440,000 to 490,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate.
Ivanhoe Mines ( IVPAF ) will release its second-quarter results and host conference call for investors on July 31.
The company's shares were last seen down $0.42 to $18.44 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
