Homerun Resources Obtains Environmental License For Silica Project in Brazil
Dec 13, 2024 8:50 AM

11:17 AM EST, 12/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Homerun Resources ( HMRFF ) on Friday said the municipality of Belmonte issued an environmental license for Homerun's silica sand project in Brazil's Bahia state.

The license is valid for two years and is issued conditional to the fulfilment of usual conditions such as preserving the natural ecosystem and control of soil erosion.

"The fact that this license was issued in such a short period of time and without any special conditions, is strong evidence of the ongoing positive reputation that Homerun has built among all levels of the Bahia Government. We will continue to work diligently to honor this trust and ensure that our business and operational activities bring major positive economic, social and environmental impacts to our community of stakeholders," said chief operating officer Armando Farhate.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.02 to $1.55 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
