06:59 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- B. Riley Financial ( RILY ) said Friday that it received notice from Nasdaq that the company is not in compliance with Nasdaq listing rules due to the delayed filing of its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company has to submit a plan to Nasdaq within 60 calendar days to address how it will regain compliance with the listing rule.
If the plan is accepted, Nasdaq may grant an exception of up to 180 calendar days from the filing's due date, or until Feb. 10, 2025, to regain compliance.
The company said it is working towards filing the quarterly report as promptly as practical and that the notice has no immediate effect on the listing of its securities on Nasdaq.
The company's share price fell more than 2% in recent premarket activity on Monday.
