Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.72.

The company said it expects Q3 core funds from operations of $2.66 to $2.76 a share. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $2.74.

AvalonBay raised its full-year 2024 core funds from operations guidance to a range of $10.92 to $11.12 a share from $10.71 to $11.11 previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $10.97.
