Amtech Lowers Q2 Revenue Guidance Amid Customer Dispute
Apr 9, 2025 3:12 PM

05:46 PM EDT, 04/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amtech Systems ( ASYS ) said late Wednesday it lowered its fiscal Q2 revenue guidance to $15 million to $16 million from $21 million to $23 million previously amid a customer dispute at its Thermal Processing Solutions segment.

The dispute involves a cancelled order and resulted in the shipping delay of a separate order of about $4.9 million, it said.

The company said it now expects nominally negative adjusted EBITDA, against nominally positive adjusted EBITDA previously.

Amtech ( ASYS ) also pointed to weaker Q2 demand in the Semiconductor Fabrication Solutions segment due to a softening of the mature node semiconductor industry, which includes silicon carbide.

The company said it now expects a "material" impairment charge in the quarter ended March 31.

Still, Amtech ( ASYS ) expects to be cash flow neutral.
